When a small towns population starts to dwindle its usually he businesses and houses that are abandoned first. The last remaining buildings are usually the church, school, hall and some houses. In this towns case there is a couple remaining houses and this hall. So this small town in Saskatchewan has become a ghost town. With overgrown lots, empty sidewalks and streets – only a couple buildings remain.
While most halls are former schoolhouses or part of a church, this hall was specifically built as a community hall (from what we can tell). It was an unexpected find on a quick road trip during the winter. Come watch our video of us walking through this old hall, which must have been an exciting place to be when the town was a bustling place to live.
