Abandoned Railway Pumphouse in Saskatchewan

Pumphouses, like the one you see below used to be very common. In the age of steam trains these pumphouses were key to keeping them going. Placed beside a water source these pumphouses were tasks with refueling trains. When steam trains became a thing of the past these were no longer needed. Most were demolished but if you know what to look for you can find the odd one still hanging around the province. We made a video of our journey around this old abandoned pumphouse.
