If you look into prairie history you will learn that most small communities had small brick plants. They would have been quite basic with kilns and a few other buildings. Not many remain but if you know where to look you can usually find foundations. When we went out to see this place we knew at one point there were kilns still standing but we figured they would be gone when we arrived. To our surprise, it was still fairly intact. The kilns were still mostly together and there were a couple of outbuildings. A neat piece of history! Oh, we are keeping its location and name hidden to protect it.
