Abandoned Tribune Railway Station

Tribune, Saskatchewan railway station

Railway stations and elevators were staples in towns that had a rail line. Stations came in a few designs that were commonly used throughout the prairies. Most stations were demolished while others were frequently moved and repurposed as grain bins, museums, and houses. The rest were abandoned and left to the elements. This station was from Tribune, Saskatchewan, and was moved to just outside town. It was abandoned and eventually demolished. This design was common with the loading shed on the side, upstairs living quarters and downstairs ticket area. Since it was never remodeled we got to see the original floor plan.
