From a distance, this house looked like any other brick abandoned house on the prairies. As you get closer you will notice the bricks are "frog facing" which means they are facing outwards. This is not something we see often and it's not a common practice in this area. Surprisingly though, this was not the best part of this house.
This brick house on the prairie is a true time capsule. It looks like someone suddenly left, leaving everything behind. The living room was still set up with the TV, nightstands stocked, calendars and pictures on the wall, curtains still in place, kitchen with dishes in place and personal belongings were everywhere. It was a really neat exploration!
Update 2023: We drove this past and it is now fenced off with bulls in the yard and no trespassing signs. This may help it remain untouched.
