The Beth Israel Synagogue was built in 1908 in rural Saskatchewan. The property has a cemetery on site that was established in 1906. It is the oldest surviving synagogue in Saskatchewan. In 1906 Jewish settlers from South Africa came to found the Edenbridge Hebrew Colony. They built the synagogue and established the cemetery. It serves as a cultural and social gathering place.

The interior also has a second floor that has a balcony, this was to accommodate the female worshippers (the orthodox tradition separates male and female congregants). The full wood interior and balcony are uncommon features in rural Saskatchewan churches.
